Power pack KA utilizes HAWE Hydraulics’ unique modular design to emphasize safety, reliability, and efficiency. The KA unit consists of a submerged motor and pump with a module that incorporates zero-leak directional valve technology for reliable and safe yaw and rotor breaking. The system operates intermittently, charging an accumulator for the ultimate in energy efficiency. All HAWE’s pressurized parts are made of steel, and their intelligent modular design provides easy maintenance: if one element needs repairs or modifications, it can be removed via four screws, without affecting any of the other functions. Maximum operating pressures for KA is up to 10,000 psi with a maximum flow rate of 2.5 gpm.
