Faith Technologies, an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design and installation, along with Schneider Electric, were recently awarded the Distributed Energy Award at the 2018 POWER Distributed Energy Conference in Golden, Colorado.

The award recognizes companies that have gone above and beyond in the energy sector for the year. Faith Technologies and Schneider Electric were honored for their collaborative work in designing and building the microgrid at the Bubolz Nature Preserve. The microgrid powers the entire nature preserve with natural and clean energy.

"Faith continues to be a leader in renewable energy," Charlie Fredrickson, vice president of product development at Faith Technologies, said. "We hope to help other businesses learn how to generate clean, renewable energy and implement these innovative techniques in the future." 

The Distributed Energy Conference brings together utility-scale electricity providers with other power generators, including commercial and industrial facilities, cooperatives and private enterprises. The conference focuses on real-life applications as well as business and financial aspects of distributed generation including renewables, energy storage, microgrids and combined heat and power.
