Welty Building Company, proven partners in comprehensive building services and construction management, recently named Nicolas Sanloup as Vice President - Business Development of Welty Energy & Infrastructure Group. In his new role, Sanloup will be helping Welty to grow its position in energy markets such as Renewable Generation, Distributed Energy Resources and Transmission and Distribution. He will be responsible to guide the growth in the Power and Utilities Sector, creating new strategy through business partnerships to broaden Welty's business as an engineering, procurement and construction management firm. 

The electric utility industry has experienced rapid and significant change due to technology, regulations, deregulation and constrained generation assets. Welty Energy & Infrastructure invested in Nicolas' experience and leadership to support the ambitious growth Welty has planned. 

Nicolas comes to Welty from Siemens Industry, Inc. where he served as U.S. Head of Transmission Solutions Business Unit reporting to the Energy Management Division. He brings with him more than 14 years of global experience in the energy sector focused on business growth, strategy and leadership. Nicolas is known as an expert on high voltage products and turnkey projects across the globe. His last achievement allowed the Transmission Solution business unit to regain its market share, increasing revenues and executing projects that exceeded the expectations of quality, budget and timeliness.
