House Grid Innovation Expo

The Edison Electric Institute (EEI), GridWise Alliance, and National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) will host a Grid Innovation Expo on Capitol Hill on July 25 in conjunction with the U.S. House Grid Innovation Caucus, co-chaired by Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH) and Rep. Jerry McNerney (D-CA).

The hands-on House Grid Innovation Expo will feature the latest innovative technologies and projects that are transforming the energy grid. Exhibitors will include; ABB, American Electric Power, CenterPoint Energy, Florida Power & Light Co., G&W Electric, General Electric, Innovari, Itron, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Rappahannock Electric Cooperative, S&C Electric Company, Siemens, Southern California Edison, Tesla, Vermont Electric Power Company, Xcel Energy, and others.

Learn about how electric companies and our technology partners are deploying smarter energy infrastructure, including energy storage, smart meters, microgrids, and tools that enable multi-dimensional flows of power, information, communications, and more. These projects showcase the customer benefits that come from making the energy grid smarter, more reliable, more resilient, cleaner, and more secure.
