Casey Butler has joined our team as our Division Contracts Manager responsible for global contract and IP management along with regulatory representation. Casey has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry and most recently, he founded Third Nail Consulting in Philadelphia which focused on developing renewable energy projects and developing an energy storage installation certificate program. Prior to creating Third Nail, he was the Global Compliance Manager at Praxair Surface Technologies and was responsible for writing and implementing legal compliance procedures in 13 countries as well as manage government contracts and nondisclosure agreements. Before Praxair, Casey was successful in winning government grants and utility projects for multiple energy storage companies, including EnerDel. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Casey is active in multiple non-profit organizations and co-founded Local Livelihood, a coffee producing co-op in Northern Thailand which has created a sustainable coffee farming community in that region. He received his Law Degree from Valparaiso University and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
