Digital River, Inc., a leading global provider of Commerce-as-a-Service solutions, announced it is running direct-to-consumer ecommerce operations for Goal Zero, an innovator of easy-to-use portable solar power products. Goal Zero selected Digital River to power its English, French, German and Spanish online stores as part of its goal to grow its online presence in European markets.

Although its products were already sold through online retailers, Goal Zero wanted a direct-to-consumer channel that could provide its customers added flexibility and convenience as well as reach areas where no local seller was available. In addition, the company was looking for an ecommerce partner with a strong understanding of global regulation and compliance.
