Earlier this year, twenty large companies and twenty small companies were named to a statewide list presented by SC Biz News; recognizing the state's best- performing companies based on revenue growth from 2013-2015. Hannah Solar Government Services LLC (HSGS) a Charleston, SC based, Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB), solar energy company, was named #1 fastest growing small company in South Carolina for 2016 by SC Biz News.

In order to be qualified for the Roaring Twenties designation, companies must have a physical presence in South Carolina and be a for-profit entity or a nonprofit organization, except for government entities and charitable, 501(3)3 organizations.
Company size was determined by gross revenue: A small company was considered as having $10 million and under in revenue. Large companies were classified as having over $10 million in revenue. Small companies must have had revenues of at least $500,000 each year for the years 2013, 2014 and 2015.

On October 12th, SC Biz News held an event in Columbia, SC, for all forty finalists of the 2016 "Roaring Twenties" lists to attend and be recognized and ranked based on pre-established criteria set by SC Biz News. HSGS was recognized and honored as the winner of the Small Company category.

Over the past few months HSGS has hired additional employees and moved into a bigger office building to accommodate their growth within the company.
