Modern Energy Management (MEM), a specialist in delivering project lifecycle certainty to renewable energy developers, financiers and investors, has appointed Jack Kneeland to the post of Head of Finance, and Supattana (Tina) Ngimhoung to Financial Controller. Both Jack and Tina will be based out of the firm's Bangkok office, working on wind energy development projects.

Jack joins MEM from AWR Lloyd, where he worked as a Managing Director for several years. He also acts as a partner for Clean Energy Advisors, which aims to create investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

Tina brings additional project finance expertise to MEM and will help to boost investor returns. She previously spent five years as a Senior Financial Advisory Manager at KPMG Thailand, and most recently worked as a Management Consultant for Access Energy.

When providing consultancy to renewable energy investors in emerging markets, MEM has, in recent years, accepted minor equity stakes in projects as partial payment for its services. By sharing risk with its clients for each project, MEM receives compensation for its consultancy only if the project is a success for the client. Jack and Tina will bring additional capacity to MEM for structuring this risk-based compensation.
