Lebanon Gasification Plant Construction Update

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation awarded the city of Lebanon a $250,000 grant to help with the building of this plant. If you would like to visit the site, please let me know, and I will arrange for your tour and safety on the site.

Field Representative Evann Freeman from U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander's office stopped by the Lebanon, Tenn., gasification plant construction site to be briefed on the municipal waste-to-energy project. PHG Energy designed and is building the plant for the city.  With Freeman were Lebanon Mayor Philip Craighead and Mike Webb, vice president marketing for PHG Energy. The commissioning of the plant is projected for early October.
