10th Quebec Wind Energy Conference to Celebrate Excellence at the 5th Quebec Industry Gala

The TechnoCentre éolien is pleased to announce the 10th Quebec Wind Energy Conference, which will be held from June 13-15 at the Riôtel Matane. This 10th edition of the Conference, which will be attended by some 225 participants, will feature the 5th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Gala presented by Siemens. An entertaining event that seeks to acknowledge those organizations and individuals who have distinguished themselves within the Quebec wind sector over the past two years.
 
After careful consideration, the jury retained nine organizations and four individual finalists. "Although the Quebec wind industry has matured in certain areas, at the same time, it continues to develop and innovate in other sectors. All these facets were present in the nominations we received", points out Frédéric Côté, General Manager of the TechnoCentre éolien, the organization facilitating the 5th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Gala.
 
Companies and individuals were invited to submit their nominations in one of seven categories. The winner in the category Enterprise of the Year will be chosen from among the finalists and unveiled at the gala.

Manufacturing Enterprise
  • Since only one eligible nomination was submitted in this category, the name of the finalist will be announced at the gala.
Rising Star

Innovation
  • Du Cœur aux Soins

The winners of each category will be announced at the gala, which is scheduled to be held on June 14 at the Riôtel Matane under the theme "The Oscars".
 
10 Years Already!
This year, the Quebec Wind Energy Conference is celebrating its 10th year! The topics featured at this 10th edition will allow participants to gain valuable insight into prevailing trends, new markets and the current challenges faced by our industry. This year, speakers from Finland, France, the US and Quebec will discuss themes related to exports and innovation, business opportunities in various markets, wind farm performance optimization, environmental performance, wind turbine O&M, icing-prone climates and the role of communities.
