EnerDel Lands its Largest Supply Agreement with Maryland Transit Administration (MTA)

EnerDel strengthens its position as the lithium-ion Energy Storage System (ESS) of choice in the diesel-hybrid bus market segment as it secures its largest contract to date.  MTA is the latest transit authority to make the strategic commitment buying into EnerDel’s advanced lithium-ion technology solutions for their aging fleet.  Johnson & Towers, EnerDel’s authorized distributor, will perform installation and integration services for the mid-life hybrid fleet upgrades.  EnerDel’s advanced lithium-ion ESS has been operating seamlessly at MTA since 2014.

“We are excited to be the ESS solutions provider of choice with the transit authorities.  Maryland’s commitment to EnerDel’s technical solution is a testament of our continued focus to deliver a truly seamless drop-in replacement that integrates well with the current architecture. We look forward to successfully executing on projects with municipalities and remain committed to delivering value to our customers” stated Michael Canada, EnerDel’s CEO.
