Smart Energy Storage System, sonnenBatterie, is ready for Hawaii with HECO Approval

After meeting the utility's energy storage requirements, the fully integrated sonnenBatterie smart energy storage systems are immediately available to residents and ready for installation across the Hawaiian islands. Approximately 95% of the 1.4 million residents on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Hawaii Island, Lanai and Molokai are served by HECO and its subsidiaries, the Maui Electric Company and the Hawaii Electric Light Company.  Receiving approval from HECO for the sonnenBatterie enables customers of HECO with both existing and new solar PV systems to purchase and install the sonnenBatterie eco. The products are now available in Hawaii through sonnen certified local installers, including Big Energy Savers, Haleakala Solar, Photon Works Engineering and Renewable Energy Services.
