Effective August 1, 2015, Ray Barry will join Vecoplan, LLC as Sales Manager – Mobile, Document Destruction & Paper Recycling Division. Formerly Deputy Executive Director for the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), Mr. Barry has also served as dean of shred school and began his career in executive sales and operations positions with private sector shredding service providers. Mr. Barry brings over 15 years of practical sales and marketing experience within the secure destruction industry to his new position at Vecoplan.  

 

In addition to sales management, other responsibilities of Mr. Barry’s new position include working with customers and Vecoplan R&D engineers to develop solutions for challenges faced by processors in the field. He will also play an integral role coordinating the introduction of these new technologies to the market.

Recognized as a thought-leader in the secure destruction industry, he has authored numerous articles published in international document destruction trade journals, has been a featured speaker at NAID & PRISM technical conferences and continues his involvement in Shred School. Mr. Barry earned a BS in Business Administration from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.
