In developing markets, the number of off-grid or bad grid mobile tower sites is growing markedly, according to report. In these areas, DG or microgrids combined with ES solutions are expected to increasingly power telecommunications infrastructure, with the use of newer technologies, such as solar PV, fuel cells, and lithium ion batteries, also expected to grow steadily in the market.
