Suzlon's 1st 60hz S111 Generates its 1st kWh in US

Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation (SWECO) commissioned its 1st S111 on US soil over the weekend; producing its first kWh at its test site near Channing, Texas.  SWECO will test various aspects of the new S111 over the coming months, welcoming interested customers to come visit the progress.  
 
“It was a collaborative effort of many experienced  local and international resources as well as the endless support of our landlord, the Barbara Family, and the local community.” said Matt Bartlett, Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation’s Project Manager responsible for installing and commissioning the S111, “We are proud to showcase our newest turbine model in such a great wind resource.”
 
“We are confident that the S111 will perform better than projected and welcome our customers to come visit our test site” said Duncan Koerbel, Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation’s CEO.
