Solar Energy Finance Association (SEFA) To Host Industry Briefing and Networking Event on March 31 in San Francisco

The Solar Energy Finance Association (SEFA), a leadership forum for solar energy capital markets solutions, has announced that it will host an industry briefing on trends shaping the solar finance industry on March 31 in San Francisco. The event, which is open to current and prospective SEFA members, will feature speakers at the cutting edge of finance and distributed energy market development.

"We are eagerly looking forward to welcoming leaders in the industry to this valuable event," said Mary Rottman, president of SEFA. "SEFA aims to continue to educate industry leaders on what's new in solar financing, as well as offer opportunities for them to connect with each other. This event is a great opportunity to meet with fellow industry influencers, discover new opportunities and learn about the future of solar finance."

Rottman will be speaking at the event, in addition to Michael T. Eckhart, a managing director and global head of environmental finance and sustainability at Citigroup; Nicholas Mack, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Clean Power Finance; and Seth Weissman, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at SolarCity. Topics will include engaging with Wall Street, growing the market and effectively attracting consumers.

The industry briefing will take place on Tuesday, March 31, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Hilton Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco. Following the briefing, SEFA and the SunSpec Alliance will host a networking reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. where hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. Attendees of the Solar Asset Management North America conference beginning the next day will have the opportunity to attend this SEFA seminar and reception as well.
