Solar-Log ® Approved by Connecticut Clean Energy Finance & Investment Authority for Monitoring Solar PV Systems
Solar Data Systems, Inc. and its Solar-Log® Performance Monitoring and Reporting products have been approved by the Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA) to monitor the electrical production of residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. To qualify for Connecticut's Performance-Based Incentive program, solar PV installations must be equipped with an approved Performance Data Provider (PDP) system, like the Solar-Log®
Solar Data Systems has developed customized Solar-Log® monitoring and metering solutions to meet the specific needs of the various reporting groups around the country. The company launched its Solar-Log® Revenue Grade Metering (RGM) in North America in 2012. Since then it has been installed and is successfully reporting to regional incentive programs across the United States. Currently, Solar Data Systems is approved to report by many state agencies including: CA, DE, DC, IL, MA, MD, NJ, OH, PA, VA and WV. Solar Data Systems is investigating other states that are considering similar reporting programs.
"We are proud to be approved in our home state of Connecticut by CEFIA. We are taking an active part of the expanding North American solar market with our Solar-Log® monitoring solutions. Solar-Log® lends itself seamlessly to delivering the best in solar PV monitoring and diagnostics - helping not only meet governmental incentive needs, but also make sure plant owners get the most out of their solar investments. Our increasing investments into the design of customized solutions that help States to grow renewable energy production through financial incentives and investment, is testament to our commitment to the customers we serve," shared Anton Kaeslin, President of Solar Data Systems, Inc.
