VFD cable for turbine applications

C&M Corporation, a vertically integrated manufacturer of bulk cable, coil cords, and cable assemblies for the renewable energy market, now offers a family of VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) cables designed for use in wind turbine applications. Part of the Greenlinx family of wind power products, the VFD family ranges in gauge from 2 AWG to 16 AWG, and all cables are jacketed with C&M’s proprietary Duralon compound. These cables carry TC-ER, FT4, and WTTC ratings, and offer superior resistance to abrasion, chemicals, oils, and solvents. Designed for continuous flex applications, these products offer an expected life of 20 million cycles. In addition to being RoHS compliant, the Greenlinx VFD family is fully customizable, recyclable, and made in America. These VFD products are also available as part of mechanical or molded cable assemblies.
